PiData discs
I've gone through literally hundreds of these for myself and for friends.
Yes, you will get the odd coaster but for under £7 for 50 you can hardly expect a 100% success rate.
Saying that though, I have about a 99.8% success rate on these discs, good burns and very few errors. The discs which do crash on me are generally in my Pioneer 108 so possibly they show early signs of failure in some writers. My 108 is currently still working but I think these may have given me an alert.
Also have two Pioneer 215's which have performed flawless with these.
Only other problem you would find with these discs is that early Pioneer writers will say they can write at 12x, they can't, they're 8x max but that's a problem with Ritek G05 in general not specific to PiData.
So far not ONE of the hundreds I have used including the crashed ones have had any problems with the printable surface. This was always a problem point for me as the surfaces varied wildly from different shades to dots and surface blemishes. These so far have been flawless.
Brilliant discs, great value for money and I'll be buying and recommending them for hopefully a long time to come.

Follow up to "Lovely printable surface"
I said I would update my review when have burnt some more. Well used a hole spindle ad not a problem with any. I mainly burn video as I'm a keen camera/camcorder buff, and have also backuped a few DVD's all on a NEC DVD writer, what can I say, but for me they are great so I'm ordering some more.

Best Discs for Wii backups
I now only use these discs for legally backing up Wii games and have found nothing to better them, not even the highly rated Taiyo Yuden (16X) DVD's that a lot of people use.
These Pidata discs give me 100% sucess rate with no read issues whatsoever, i have only ever had one coaster and that was when my PC crashed mid-burn. For Wii burning you should of course use a very low write speed (i use 2X but 4X *may* be OK) so cannot comment on the results at high write speeds but if you want a reliable Disc then you can't go wrong with these.
I would gladly pay 2 or 3 times more for other discs IF they were better and used to use Taiyo Yuden exclusivly but IMHO these are more reliable and happen to be cheap as well, bonus!
I have rated 9/10 simply because i prefer a more matt surface for printing and these are glossy, they still print well but i just find matt surfaces give more vivid and sharp colours so have knocked off 1 point for this.
BTW i use a NEC ND-3520AW with liggy and dee 1.UG firmware.

Perfect 4x discs
Have used other G05 dye discs, but bought these as a 'cheaper' alternative. These are PERFECT for Wii backups and DVDs/films if burn't at 4x. However, I must add that when I burn't at 8x the Wii did have dirty disc issues, and the 9 out of 10 was a reflection on this, BUT THIS ONLY. I only burn't it at 8x because the kids were SO eager.... So listen to Wii Master: Burn at 4x and you will have NO problems!(when burning with a 100% working Pioneer110D)....

Lovely printable surface
Very impressed with the print surface of theses disks. They are nice and smooth, and white areas don't attract dirt like some very mat surface disks do. I have had no problems burning the disks so far but I�m at the start of the spindle so I'll report back if I get any later.

my 8 months experience as a reseller of these wonderful disks.
I have buying these Pidata G05 for the last 8 months and reselling them from my shop. I would like to repeat my review from 4 months ago. These are still my customers' favourite discs.

From a reseller's experience - FANTASTIC
I resell these from my shop in Welling for the last 3 1/2 months, NOT A SINGLE RETURN OR COMPLAIN. We have all sorts of customers coming back week after week asking for the same. The feed back I get for this product has been nothing but praises. I can understand why my customers are so pleased given that i used to have to charge them a lot more for the TRAXDATA G05 which is the only other G05 media I would usually stock. I have now stopped selling the TRAXDATA G05 as I see no point paying a lot more for the same thing. I used to sell a variety of G05 media and this PIDATA G05 is the only two that don't give us grief and for us as a busy retailer this is perfect as it saves us time and generate lots of goodwill.
We sell about 10,000 pcs of these a week and displaying this item in a prominent position on the shop window has helped to pull in lots of customers in the past few months.
SVP has always been good with delivery so thanks Steve. The least i can do is recommend these.
